AI Review Insights¶

Your product reviews are full of honest feedback — but reading every one and reacting by hand does not scale. AI Review Insights analyses your existing native Shopware reviews with AI and turns raw ratings into clear, prioritised recommendations directly in the Shopware admin. No external review platform required.

The key difference from other review plugins: other tools collect reviews or solicit new ones. AI Review Insights tells you what your reviews MEAN — and WHAT TO DO about them: which product has quality issues, which topic is criticised most often, or how a fitting reply should read.

The AI analysis runs on the OpenAI API using your own API key, so you stay in full control of usage and cost, and only the review title and text are processed — never personal customer data. Your existing reviews are read only; Shopware's native review data stays untouched.

🔧 Installation¶

• Install via the Shopware Store
• Install and activate the plugin in the Shopware Plugin Manager
• Configure it in the administration area (see Configuration below)

⚙️ Configuration¶

Open Settings → Extensions → AI Review Insights:

• OpenAI API key – your own API key for the AI analysis (required for Starter/Business only).
• OpenAI model – the model used (default: gpt-4o-mini).
• Analysis language – the language of the AI output (default: German).
• Reply tone – professional, friendly or apologetic.
• Auto-analyse new reviews – new reviews are automatically scheduled for analysis.
• Notification e-mail – recipient of the weekly digest (Business).

🧠 How the AI analysis works¶

1. Read – The plugin reads your existing native product reviews (title, text, stars, product) read-only.
2. Score – The AI determines each review's sentiment (positive / neutral / negative) with a score and detects the underlying topics.
3. Cluster – Recurring criticism is grouped across all reviews into topic clusters and ranked by impact.
4. Recommend – You receive concrete suggestions, for example:
   • Product X has 73% negative quality mentions → review the product page.
   • Delivery speed is mentioned negatively in 45% of 1-star reviews.
   • A ready-to-copy reply suggestion for every negative review.
